THE TAPE CONSTRUCTION

Is it a foam tape?
No. Super 33+ uses a flexible PVC backing with a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive.
Can it be applied in cold weather?
The European 3M data sheet describes cold application down to −18°C. Review the full application conditions and installation instructions before use.
Which temperature and voltage ratings apply?
Use the regional Super 33+ technical data sheet. Electrical ratings, operating-temperature classifications and application temperatures have different conditions and should be evaluated separately.
Can an outer wrap replace the complete splice insulation?
An overwrap has a defined role in a cable system. Select and install the complete insulation and protection system for the connection; the application photographs do not show the internal splice construction.
