Can I apply it to wet film?
Clean the area and let it dry completely before applying the tape. Use a cleaning method suitable for your covering, then test adhesion on a small area.
Which width should I choose?
Choose a width that gives the tape enough contact with sound film around the damage. The 50 mm roll provides a narrower strip; the 100 mm roll provides a wider contact area. Both are 33 m long.
Is it suitable for my greenhouse film?
Check the film material and any surface coating. Try the tape on an inconspicuous area first, and follow the covering supplier’s repair guidance. Send us your film details if you need help checking the fit.
How long will an outdoor repair last?
UV resistance is specified for this tape; a verified service-life figure is not available. Film condition, surface preparation, movement and exposure affect the repair. Check the patch regularly, especially after severe weather.
When should I replace the covering?
Reassess brittle film, widespread damage or tears that keep returning around a fixing. Ask the covering supplier whether replacement is needed. This tape is intended for local film repairs and does not replace structural fixings or damaged glazing.
